Seattle 2024! Cherry Blossoms! March 22-25.

Angle Lake Park There were a few trees scattered here and just a few people here. Seike Japanese Gardens Nice Garden though there was no Cherry Blossom here though this is where the net says its one of the best places. There was a few Cherry trees where the parking lot was though. Seward Park I don't know if the trees were already done blooming or I came too early. This is a fairly huge park with a huge walkway. I can only imagine if all the trees were full bloom, this place would look spectacular.  University of Washington   The mother of them all. I nearly skipped here but I met a couple from Seward Park that told me to come here. Thank Jesus I did listen because the blossoms were beautiful. Definitely a must for the Cherry Blossoms. Parking was free but awkwardly it was after 12PM. I arrived around 12:15PM that day so Jesus timed it right for me.  Everett There were random Cherry blossom tress scattered throughout Everett when I went to my buddy Heath's p...

Phoenix 2024

Phoenix 3/20/24 Phoenix Skyharbor international airport I posted this because I found Sixt rental car to be very suspicious. If you look online, lots of reviews point out that this company likes to say you caused the damage to the car after you bring it back. The key as usual is to do a video and photo sweep of the car before you drive off with it. I bought the insurance after consulting my insurance agent so I would avoid this hassle. I rarely buy insurance btw. There are two long scratches; one on each side of the tail lights. Really strange, indeed. I usually go with Enterprise but they were fully booked for months. I can see why now most people avoid some companies. The car was a nice drive though and the agent who helped me was friendly.  Arizona Capitol Musuem Nice history about Arizona/Phoenix area. Arizona is huge on the USS Arizona as well. Its free overall. Nice place to see. Kinda sad to see it empty for the most part though I was here around 9AM so maybe...

A day in Death Valley March 19, 2024

Death Valley Return Big Desert of the Bovine   A big cow in the middle of the desert. What more do you want? Dante's Peak This is the Mos Eisley overlook from the Star Wars film. I did a comparison for your viewing pleasure.  *Star Wars is the property of Lucasfilm/Disney. No profit is intended. Just for informational puporses.* Ubehebe Crater.    This was a long drive here and I ended just snagging a few shots. If I had more time, I would had hiked the perimeter. Badwater Basin A lake formed here due to a recent storm. Was so nice to see a lake in the middle of the nowhere. You can see the lake from Dante's view. Lake Manly I believe they call it. God really works in mysterious ways.  Natural Bridge Trail Super easy trail. You be there in 5-10 mins no time. You can explore a little further from what I did. End of day: Yep, returned to my BNB in Las Vegas. Was really hot this day but I thank Jesus he was with me that day. Later folks.
