Las Vegas 2/28-3/2.

Quick trip to Vegas. Enjoy Bellagio Ethels Caesars and the rest of the Strip This was pretty much my pit stop until I headed to Boise. It was to rest and recuperate due to the hikes in DV. See you and the next trip.

One and a half day in Death Valley.

Welcome back folks and here was my quick trip to DV. I touched down at Las Vegas, Nevada and did my stay at Pahrump during 2/26-28 while I did my DV trips on 2/27 and half a day on the 28th.  If you want to save time, try to rent a hotel in the park though that depends on your budget. Coming from Pahrump, where I stayed, will take you at least an hour. Without delay, here was my itinerary.  2/27 Sunrise at Zabriskie Point This is a famous spot for people to do sunrise/sunset photos. It's recommended pretty much by the internet community that this is the spot to start or end your day. I had to pretty much leave Pahrump around 540AM that day to get here (one hr drive roughly). Lots of photographers already doing their stuff. Twenty Mule Team Canyon drive I was at this spot to locate the Return of the Jedi filming scenes. It's a one way road btw so you are going to have to find spots to pull off on the side and find the iconic spots. I did not see one person here so enjoy....

Star Wars in Death Valley visit 2023

Something I did for fun. Thank you to all the SW fans who made their blogs and videos to make all this possible for me to find. Dante's View was flooded at this point so I was un-able to see the Mos Eisley overlook. Anyhow, enjoy. Star Wars Death Valley in 2023. Dates in DV: Feb 27-28. Property of Lucasfilm/Disney. Pics are used only for informational purposes. Screencaps were done using Powerdvd 21 and editing with Ifranview.  Desolation Canyon Golden Canyon Artist Palette Twenty Mule Canyon (1st pic Return of the Jedi deleted scene) Mesquite Sand Dunes That's it for now. Thank Jesus for another safe trip. Hopefully, I can make my return to DV one day and finish a couple more hikes and visit Dante's View. Thank you for visiting.
