Thank God for good days in Waikiki 4-26 to 4-28-21 Waikiki Sunsets and eats!

Let the pics do the talking 4-26-21

It's been years but it was my return to Aston Circle Waikiki. We checked in time for dinner and sunset by the Sheraton area. We had dinner at Seoul Tofu house, Slice by Waikiki, and dessert at Matcha Cafe Maiko. The beach was also being re-constructed. Not sure but there was a crane on a barge out in the ocean (first pic)

4-27-21

Kai Coffee and Tucker and Brevvy (Hyatt hotel) for breakfast after a swim at the beach.

Decided to take my nephew to the Honolulu Zoo. Wow, it's been a long time. The zoo was fairly big so it was worth the admission. Some animals like Lions and Tigers were difficult to get pics of. Anyhow, here are some pics.

Lunch and desserts! The donuts and Tempura were from Mitsuwa Marketplace, Tacos from Surf and Turf Tacos, Maguro Spot, and Ice cream from Dylans Candy Bar. All were good and fattening! Caught the sunset partially at my hotel but decided to get a better shot on the beach side.

Final dinner

Grabbed dinner at Momosan which was a street from our place. Had to get ramen I guess.

4-28-21

Last breakfast at the Hyatt which was also a block from where we were. Family style buffet at the Shor restaurant. You get a Ocean view and you can see the progress of the sand refurbishing by haulers and bulldozers. Thank you Jesus for a good staycation here in the ainas.

Thank God for a good day in Waikiki Oct 5, 2020

What a better way to start your two week vacation? Yep, a staycation thanks to your government locking you up even denying you the chance to do inter-island traveling. Thank the Lord for my profession for I was able to secure a free night at the Outrigger; there was a promotion for health care professions that allowed you to get a night free only at the Outrigger. 2nd night and beyond at a first responder discount rate. Wish more hotels did this. Anyhow, let's get started. Yeah, Waikiki was like this Dinner and aftermath Moana Surfrider That was it. Had dinner with the family and my nephew. Just walked around a quiet Waikiki to take pics of the hearts all over. 2nd night coming soon. Thank you Lord Jesus for a good day.

Sapporo, Japan Feb 2025 (Pic Heavy)

Early February trip to Japan. Feb 2 (Hawaii time) Flight from HNL to New Chitose  Food from ANA airlines. Was not a direct flight. One layover. Then a one hr train ride to Sapporo from New Chitose Airport. Landed around 1030PM at night.  (Each day categories pics start from bottom to top, sorry didn't feel like fixing this).  Feb 3 ( Sapporo) (Will be Japan dates from this moment forward) The famous Nikka sign and pretty much a midnight snack before bed. According to google, the restaurant is called Asahi Ga Nobori Susukino and its right across the Nikka sign and has a animatronic ramen display. It's a good restaurant that features a staple of Sapporo: Miso. One of the few places that is open to a much later time. I think 3AM?  Feb 4  Nijo Market  Yup. Hawaii. Nijo Market. Brunch pretty much at Ohiso . Gets packed quick so find a spot to catch your grub quickly. Lots of similar restaurants around here like Ohiso but like I sai...
