Caught this amid a mini torrential downpour. Anyhow, let's get started!

Eventually, the clouds obscured the Sun. It did stop raining maybe about an hr later. I did walk the beach and took a quick dip... after all I am here, right?

Kailua beach is pretty much around the corner, but I got to see the sunrise and the "Mokes" more up close.

That is that. I came early to beat the crowd of course, but there was quite a crowd already. The beach and hikes are the best places to feel normal. I certainly would come back here and do the rise again when there is better weather. Thank you Jesus for a nice photo day again.

 Return to Osaka! It's been 4 years and it was nice to be back. My 100th post for this blog as well! Dotombori Back to Namba Oriental Hotel. Got a fairly decent room for 3. Also did a Pig cafe, The Pigs kept coming to me for sleep. They were probably tired all day. It was roughly 1830PM by then.  Nara   Even the Deers here wait for the bus. J/k. They always hungry so feed them the crackers you can purchase from the vendors on the streets. We didn't do temples this time. You can say we came here for a few hours to feed the deers and that was it.  Back to Dotombori    I've always wanted to visit the Capcom store. Sadly, the displays are the most impressive thing about the Osaka store. You get to play Street Fighter 6 on the big screen but everything in the store is pretty lackluster. The Capcom store and it's superhero neighbors are in the Parco store btw. Universal Studios Japan Pretty much came here for Super Nintendo World (ser...

Hawaii Foodiecon 2025 and Yakiniku Like.

  Yakiniku Like Foodiecon was a enjoyable experience. Quite a bit of food vendors. It can be fairly expensive depending on the stuff you buy. Got to try Yakiniku Like over here in HNL. Brings me back to Sapporo which was actually only two months ago. Once again, good if you want a quick meal but if you hoping to be fulfilled, you may want to check into a Yakiniku buffet instead.

One and a half day in Death Valley.

  Welcome back folks and here was my quick trip to DV. I touched down at Las Vegas, Nevada and did my stay at Pahrump during 2/26-28 while I did my DV trips on 2/27 and half a day on the 28th.  If you want to save time, try to rent a hotel in the park though that depends on your budget. Coming from Pahrump, where I stayed, will take you at least an hour. Without delay, here was my itinerary.  2/27 Sunrise at Zabriskie Point This is a famous spot for people to do sunrise/sunset photos. It's recommended pretty much by the internet community that this is the spot to start or end your day. I had to pretty much leave Pahrump around 540AM that day to get here (one hr drive roughly). Lots of photographers already doing their stuff. Twenty Mule Team Canyon drive I was at this spot to locate the Return of the Jedi filming scenes. It's a one way road btw so you are going to have to find spots to pull off on the side and find the iconic spots. I did not see one person here so enjoy....
