Kaneana Cave hike ( Upper Makua Caves) 4-20-21 Oahu hikes

At long last! God has finally answered one of my prayers in getting this hike done after putting it off for many years! My co-workers, whom I will name A & C brought me here. Thank Jesus for this awesome planning! The hike is in the Waianae side, so it was quite a drive to get here.

Thank you A for the last two pics here. Just be careful as always, lots of loose rocks and greenwood. Some pokey plants as well so take it slow and you will be fine. Bring bug spray as well. Going down was much harder, imo.

The cave

It's roughly about 15-20 mins to the top. There is a mini cave prior to this one but the main one (pictured here) is the one everybody is raving about. We were having fun making poses and all. I was doing WWE/WWF poses every now and then. You get a nice view of Makua beach... I think that is what the beach is called. A nice look on the coast overall as well.

Today in Oahu, Hawaii 6/30/20: Laie Point Sea Arch, Sunset Beach, Sharks Cove, Laniakea Beach, and Haleiwa Alii Beach.

There is a story behind this but I won't divulge into it. You can look this up online. I finally got a chance to check this place out. A very nice scenery with a small parking lot. Also folks, try to park in a fashion where others can park and enjoy the view as well. There was a car that literally, in a sense, double parked (took up lots of space) forcing me to nearly park near an edge. Please be courteous to others. We want to enjoy the view and grab memories as well. Fairbanks, Alaska 3/6-3/9

Here was the ender to my trip before my return to HNL. First time to Alaska and hopefully it won't be my last. Santa Claus House Possibly the best place to shop for gifts if you are near here. It's about 20-25 mins south of Fairbanks. Antler Arch The museums here are free. Take advantage. The arch was close by as well. Ice Museum Fairbanks $15. Good for family, couple, or group pics. Regardless, there is a slide here that is worth the admission. Around the area, there is a Moldovan restaurant named Soba. It was my first time and worth the try! Pioneer Park Closed during these times, its a neat touristy spot to walk your legs. You can walk inside but most shops and attractions are closed however. Come during summer. Pikes Waterfront Lodge This was the place where I initially wanted to stay at first but Airbnb often provide cheaper results. The Love Alaska sign is here and there are some ice sculptures as well. Makiki Valley secret waterfall Oahu hikes

Because it's considered a secret I can not divulge how to get there. If you recognize some of the landmarks in my pics, then it should be good enough to tell you where it is. The waterfall is found in Makiki Valley loop trail so good luck. It is roughly about 20-30 mins in from the entrance. I did this with the meetup.com crew. So enjoy the pics. If you find it then good for you. And remember to keep it a secret. The waterfall Enjoy. It's a nice scene if you do find it. You can hike to the top of the fall in which I did.
